Overview of Dr. Yerramilli
I am a radiation oncologist with a focus on palliative radiation and caring for people with cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. I have always been interested in a team-based, balanced approach to cancer care. I keep my patients and their families at the center of my work. With this in mind, I helped create and am the Co-Director of the Inpatient Radiation Oncology Consult Service, and I am part of a Bone Metatasis Program.
I also have a background in medical ethics and have served on several hospital Ethics Committees, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My ethics research is focused on the ethics of cancer care and ensuring a fair and just work environment in Academic Medicine.
