Summary

  • I am still astounded by the words once told by my dearest father, a practicing gynecologist, "You must have great passion, curiosity, and empathy to pursue the field of medicine." The curiosity this area presents cannot be satisfied by simple means and will continue to thrive throughout the journey of mastering this art. I have met many doctors who possess great compassion, humanity, and benevolence towards their patients. They can relieve the emotional and physical distress of patients and relatives suffering from severe conditions. Their ability to do so inspires me to become a more empathetic person. The doctors, nurses, and faculty at my medical school possessed these skills and shared their knowledge. At a young age, I had an extra advantage of viewing my father practicing medicine.
One of the alternative advantages of contemplating a physician assistant career is having the favorable luck to work with a minding and empathetic gathering of individuals. My school had camps in remote parts of India to treat those in need. This opportunity permitted me to witness patients who stayed stable all through ghastly misfortunes, relatives whose dedication to their friends and family was motivating and therapeutic staff that yielded so that everyone around them was tended to. It imparted me a genuineness to be one of them: to be one of the general population who had any effect even when it is troublesome. As far back as then, I have done my best to show even an ounce of the compassion by adopting more about the patient life, holding their hand when times are troublesome and listening to the individuals who should be monitored. Such outstanding eases of workforce and staff in physician assistant propel me to end up one of them. I understand that mental flexibility, sympathy are the most sensitive qualities a physician assistant must have such objectives is accomplished with a nature of care and at least blunders, wearing down and mental anxiety.
