Summary

  • I am a resident in neurosurgery at Stanford. My professional interests are in the development and deployment of A.I. tools in the operating room and healthcare more broadly.

My work includes: using A.I. methods to quantify surgical actions using video from the operating room, streamline note-taking and documentation burdens across healthcare domains. In my fourth year of medical school I started a AI dictation and documentation startup, dotphrase.ai. I also helped build a research and education nonprofit called the Surgical Data Science Collective which brings A.I. to the operating room.

I have experience with think-pieces, informal science/technology communication, building products, and leading research organizations.
