Dr. Bielecki specializes in high-volume plain film interpretation, with a particular focus on bone diseases, including both inflammatory and non-inflammatory diseases of the joints, spine, chest, and abdomen. As an educator, he has trained a wide range of learners, from medical students to residents, registrars, and fellows.

He oversees conventional radiology reporting and offers hands-on training for registrars and radiographers in these techniques. His teaching methods include "at the monitor" training, suggesting reading materials, leading conference case presentations and discussions, and delivering formal lectures that cover the full spectrum of basic MSK radiology. He also mentors medical students who aspire to become radiologists.

Dr. Bielecki's own training includes a research fellowship at UCSD, where he studied under Donald Resnick. During this fellowship, he contributed to the publication of six peer-reviewed research papers. In total, he has published over 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

In the past, Dr. Bielecki served as a peer review editor for AJR. Recently, he has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Radiology On Line Journal, an open access, peer-reviewed, internet-based journal of radiology.
