- Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Tonzola graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University in 1988 with a degree in Biology.
She earned her MD degree from New York University, and was inducted into the AOA medical honor society in 1992. She pursued her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale and was appointed Chief Resident in 1996. Dr. Tonzola joined Greater New Haven OB/Gyn after completing her residency and was named partner in 2001.
Dr. Tonzola enjoys educating her patients about their health. She especially values the long lasting relationships she has established with her patients, many of which extend across multiple generations of family members.
Outside of her busy patient practice, Dr. Tonzola is the Chief Medical Officer for a medical marketing company called Phase 5 Analytics. In her free time, she enjoys boating and biking as well as spending time with her family that includes two very active sons.
