Summary

• I am a board certified allergist/immunologist and previously worked for 9 years in Waterbury and Cheshire CT after completing a subspecialty fellowship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. I received her medical degree the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. I am board certified in allergy and immunology and integrative and holistic medicine, and she is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Connecticut Allergy Society, the New England Allergy Society, and serves on the editorial board of the publication Connecticut Medicine. I am interested in functional nutrition and its use for allergy and immunology and will complete a Masters degree in Human Nutrition in 2017. I am interested in adverse food reactions, food allergies, gluten reactions, bone health and Ayurvedic medicine. I currently do nutritional counseling in the office in addition to our regularly offered allergy, asthma and immunology services.
  In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, swimming, volunteering with a local cat rescue society, cooking and reading.
