Dr. Denise Barajas is a general surgeon based in Derby, CT, with subspecialties in breast surgical oncology. She completed her surgical residency at Yale-New Haven Medical Center after graduating from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1997. Dr. Barajas currently serves as the Medical Director of the Center for Cancer Care and Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness and Associate Chair of Surgery at Griffin Hospital and holds positions as an Associate Professor at Quinnipiac University. Her extensive experience focuses on breast-related surgeries, including reconstruction and minimally invasive procedures. Her publications include works on glomus tumors and radiation-induced angiosarcomas of the breast.
