Summary

• Dr. Houk earned her medical degree with a scholarly concentration in Community/Urban Health at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2012. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Yale – New Haven Hospital in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Master of Science and Biology from Stanford University. Dr. Houk has been honored with a National Medical Fellowship, and has been selected as a Colombian Woman Scholar, an Alec Horwitz Scholar, and an Edith Seville Coale MD Medical Scholar. She is a former NCAA PAC-10 Conference All-Academic Award winner. She was also the recipient of the Stanford University Athletic Department’s Honor Athlete Award and Stanford Track and Field’s Wierhauser Award. Dr. Houk previously served as a Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans. Dr. Houk currently serves as a Hospitalist for Kymera Physician Group in Naples, FL working at the Physicians Regional Medical Center locations.
