Summary
- I am a forensic psychiatrist and hold additional certifications in addiction medicine, general adult, child and adolescent, and consult-liaison psychiatry. I evaluate, treat and provide expert testimony regarding sex offenders, other criminal and juvenile offenders, families and troubled children. I serve as Acting Director of Psychiatry at a sex offender facility in New Jersey and work, as well, in high paced, high acuity psychiatric emergency services in Brooklyn. I regularly teach residents and fellows at NYU and Rutgers, and am active in professional organizations including the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. I am presently on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and Past President of the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry.
