- Davis Taylor is an AANS board eligible neurosurgeon and completed neurosurgical residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He is the assistant department head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and an active duty Naval surgeon. As a resident at UVA, he published over 60 peer reviewed papers, received internal grants from UVA and external grants from the AANS/CNS, and was involved in numerous research projects within the medical center and brain, immunology and glial center. He spent a year abroad in New Zealand performing a skull base and cerebrovascular fellowship.
