• I am a board-certified dermatologist who continues to practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago nearly 44 years after completing residency at the University of Chicago. I was born and raised in Indiana and attended Purdue University. I entered Indiana University as a graduate student in pharmacology and studied for three years in Bloomington, combining graduate studies with the pre-clinical years in the Indiana University School of Medicine. Following graduation, in 1975, I completed an internship at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis followed by a residency in dermatology at the University of Chicago, completed in 1979. I opened my practice in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and in 2005, I moved to my current location in Barrington, Illinois. In 2007, I completed an international 2-year Executive MBA program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. As of 2023, I continue to practice general dermatology and dermatological surgery in Barrington.
