• Dr. Tierney is an Internist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he has practiced since 2003. He is the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and clinically works as a hospitalist and proceduralist. He is the founder and director of the Internal Medicine Bedside Ultrasound program (known as IMBUS) that has trained over 200 inpatient and outpatient internal medicine residents/faculty since its inception in 2011.
