Dr. David Schwartz is an anesthesiologist in Chicago, IL and is the Ronald Albrecht MD Professor and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He received his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and completed residencies at UCSF in internal medicine and anesthesiology as well as a fellowship in critical care medicine. He was a faculty member in the UCSF anesthesia department for five years until moving to UIC in 1995.
