Summary
- I'm guessing you've experienced the frustration and inefficiency of diagnosing and treating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). I certainly have, that's why I created Renuma. Renuma affordably coordinates a streamlined and understandable journey to OSA care.
The referral process is simple: just tell your patients the link www.renumasleep.com and the rest is taken care of. They can choose to followup with you for OSA treatment or use the Renuma+ program to obtain a CPAP with active efficacy monitoring by a sleep doctor. You'll of course be kept in the loop with your patient's treatment progress if desired.
Let’s compare costs: Going through insurance means you have a pre-test copay to visit with a provider ($30-$50 specialist copay), then possibly an out-of-pocket cost for the home sleep study depending on your deductible (average $50, but could be more or less), then the post-test copay to visit with the doctor to review results ($30-$50 again). And that process will take weeks to months.
Going through Renuma simplifies and streamlines all that with one fee of $199 and your patient is happy to have saved a lot of time as well.
It's time we removed the barriers preventing patients from being evaluated for this underdiagnosed disease.
