Summary

• I have worked in remote settings, specializing in family medicine. I trained for two years with the Orthopedic residency program at the University of New Mexico from 1981-1983. I also did a two year practicum at the Bethel behavioral health program. I managed the Psychiatric program for 4 years, working in concert with Dr. David Ondich of St. Paul Minnesota who traveled to Bethel and Villages 4 times annually . I was involved in the diagnosis and management of various behavioral health concerns for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporations' region which involved 48 Villages and the City of Bethel. My responsibilities included the diagnosis, and treatment of patients who were referred to me for individual, couple or medication management.
