- David McNamara, MD, MPH, is a non-invasive cardiologist and is board-certified in both cardiology, internal medicine, and echocardiography. Dr. McNamara earned his master’s degree in public health from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and his medical degree from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internal medicine residency at Northwestern University and his cardiovascular disease, advanced imaging and research fellowships at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. His clinical interests include the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular heart disease and the treatment of structural and valvular heart disease using advanced cardiac imaging. His research interests include the study of mitigating radiation exposure to interventional echocardiographers during structural heart cases.
