David McAneny, MD, is a Boston-based general surgeon specializing in endocrine surgery and surgical oncology. He completed his Surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center and a GI/HPB surgery fellowship at the Lahey Clinic. Dr. McAneny has published many peer-reviewed manuscripts, including studies about the prevention of postoperative complications such as venous thromboembolism and pneumonia. Over his career, he has been recognized with honors such as America's Top Doctors and featured in Boston Magazine.
