Summary

  • I am Chief Medical Officer at Quartet Health - a technology and services company (backed by Oak HC/FT, Google Ventures, Centene Corporation as well as other venture firms). We focus on integrating mental health resources into the primary care setting at scale across the country. Our aim is to drive healthcare value by improving provider access, matching, and tracking results for patients with mental health conditions.

Previously, I worked at Castlight Health, a tech company focused on healthcare price and quality transparency - I was a member of the Provider Relations & Clinical Design team. Prior to this I was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group where I established the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) with Professor Michael Porter and the Karolinska Institute.

I am formally trained in infectious diseases (UCSF) and internal medicine (Osler Medicine Training Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital). I obtained my MD and PhD degrees at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons conducting retroviral research and X-ray crystallography with Professors Steve Goff and Wayne Hendrickson. I attended Harvard College with a Biochemical Sciences concentration - my senior thesis research characterized cyclophilins and their role in cyclosporin A-mediated immunosuppression.
