After receiving his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, Dr. Kreitzman completed a residency in neurology at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare in Worchester, where he was Chief Resident in 2001, and a fellowship in Movement Disorders at Boston University School of Medicine in Massachusetts.
In 2003, he established the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center of Long Island; serving as director. In 2011 Dr. Kreitzman established an additional Parkinson’s Disease center at St Charles Hospital Specialty Care Center and serves as Director.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Kreitzman is a member of the Movement Disorders Society, the Movement Disorders Section of the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Academy of Neurology. He has published numerous articles and abstracts in journals, has given scientific presentations at national and international meetings on Parkinson's disease and has completed over 50 clinical trials in Parkinson’s Disease.
