  • Dr. David Kennedy is an otolaryngologist, Professor Emeritus of the University of Pennsylvania, and Professor at Thomas Jefferson University where he currently practices. Additionally, he practices in Delaware with ENT and Allergy of Delaware. He received his medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and has been in practice 40 years. He specializes in rhinology, paranasal sinus disease and minimally invasive techniques, and was named as one of the most influential surgeons of the 20th Century by the American College of Surgeons. He introduced endoscopic sinus surgery to the US, and was the first to describe endoscopic orbital surgery. He is a pioneer in minimally invasive skull base procedures and intraoperative image guidance. He was elected to the National Academy of Medicine for his contributions and received the Practitioner of Year award from Castle Connolly Top Doctors. He has over 200 publications and lectures internationally within the field of rhinology.
