Summary
- MD PhD, completed PhD work in Immunology at Utrecht University, Van Wijk lab and The Rockefeller University, Mucida lab. My research focused on intestinal T cells using a combination of techniques including live imaging. Completed pediatrics residency at Boston Childrens Hospital and Harvard Medical School concurrent with research at Harvard Medical School, Kirchhausen lab, Zon lab, where I studied the development and function of tissue-resident immune cells whilst completing the Integrated Research Pathway.
Current Allergy and Immunology Attending Physician at Boston Children's Hospital and Instructor at Harvard Medical School, working in Nigrovic lab and Zanoni lab on tissue-resident immune cells in the lung. Clinically especially passionate about providing care for patients with immune dysregulation syndromes or immunodeficiency, with a focus on immunogenetics and research-based clinical care for patients with rare diseases of the immune system. Part of MIDAS Immune Dysregulation program and Interstitial Lung Diseases program at Boston Children's Hospital.
