- David Gorelick, MD is a psychiatrist based in Baltimore, MD with a subspecialty in addiction. His medical training was completed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center. He currently serves as a professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cannabis Research, and a member of the Maryland Cannabis Public Health Advisory Council. Dr. Gorelick has published more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and has designed and conducted numerous phase I and II clinical trials related to addiction and its treatmt. His work focuses on treatment of substance use disorders and comorbidity with other psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia.
