Summary

  • I practiced high volume Interventional Cardiology from 1982-2000. By 1994 I had developed increasing interest in Christian Global Healthcare missions. From 1996-2005, I initiated and directed the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. The attendance went from 220 attendees the first year to >2500 the tenth year I directed the conference. The conference continues to this day. From 1994-present I have participated and/or led over two dozen short-term mission trips including Ethiopia, Gabon, Zambia, Afghanistan, China, India, Romania, Guatemala - some once and some over a dozen times.

Starting in 2007 I developed an interest in local Christian Healthcare and originated and direct the Shawnee Christian Healthcare Center in Louisville, Ky, serving a neighborhood of 17,000 individuals with statistics that meet the underserved criteria for medical care. The center includes a primary care clinic and a neighborhood transformation director, whose program is designed to use the assets of the neighborhood to improve the neighborhood.
