- Dr. David Bejar is a board certified cardiologist focused on delivering the highest quality, patient-centered, evidence-based care in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic cardiovascular disease.
Raised in South Florida, Dr. Bejar received his undergraduate degree (A.B.) from Princeton University and his medical degree (M.D.) from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he graduated at the top of his class and was the recipient of numerous honors, including the Michael H. Aranow Memorial Prize, the Aura E. Severinghaus Award, and election to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. After medical school, he completed internship and residency in internal medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
The recipient of extensive training and numerous certifications, Dr. Bejar is board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Bejar joins MyCardiologist, a full-service cardiology practice in South Florida, in August 2019. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
