- Dr. David W. Becker Jr. is a plastic surgeon, now retired in Twin Falls, ID, with subspecialties in burn, hand, and pediatric plastic surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine with an internship at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis AFB, CA. Dr. Becker then completed USAF Flight Medicine training at Brooks AFB, TX. After a year as a flight surgeon at Mt. Home AFB, ID, he completed residencies in Otolaryngology and then Plastic Surgery at Wilford Hall USAF in San Antonio. Dr. Becker then completed the Maytag Fellowship in Plastic Surgery with D. Ralph Millard, Jr. M.D. in Miami, FL. Then he returned to Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center where he eventually became the Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Dept. He was an associate professor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Later, he became a Clinical Professor at the University of Utah medical school. Dr. Becker has published 30 plastic surgery articles. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Additionally, Dr. Becker has a J.D.-- order of the Coif and Law Review-- from Denver University Sturm College of Law.
