- David Barris, MD serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Radiology in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. He has clinical expertise in providing care for fetuses, children and young adults affected by heart conditions. He has additional specialized training in non-invasive cardiac imaging including: fetal echocardiography, pediatric and/or congenital echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiovascular computed tomography. Dr. Barris graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He was awarded his medical degree with a distinction in research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Barris completed his pediatric residency at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center. He went on to finish his pediatric cardiology and non-invasive imaging fellowships at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Barris is board certified in Pediatrics.
