Dr. Darren J. Friedman is Director of the New York Downtown Center for Sports Medicine at NYPLMH. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Friedman has expertise in surgery of the shoulder, knee, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal trauma. Dr. Friedman has obtained a Subspecialty Board Certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His goal is to provide comprehensive patient care in a kind, thoughtful manner with a focus on the individual. He is an attending surgeon at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and Midtown Surgery Center.
