- Dr. Santana-Acosta joined Pediatric Specialists of America (PSA), part of Miami Children’s Health System, in 2016. She is a pediatric cardiac intensivist in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Santana-Acosta earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine’s Pediatric Hospital, followed by fellowships in pediatric critical care medicine at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and pediatric cardiac critical care medicine at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. Dr. Santana-Acosta is a member of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
