Dr. Silva has extensive post-residency clinical fellowship training in the areas of open and endoscopic skull base surgery, neurosurgical oncology, radiosurgery, and functional and restorative neurosurgery, all of which he gained while at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He has written various book chapters in his areas of expertise, and has published neurosurgical articles in world-renowned indexed journals.
In his final year at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Silva was recognized for his excellence in teaching by the graduate medical education office. Dr. Silva is also known for his exceptional patient communication skills and his patient-centered approach. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
