Summary
- I am an Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Physician. I received my Medical Doctorate with a Distinction in Research from Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, graduated Anesthesiology Residency with the Paul R. Levesque, M.D. Resident Award of Excellence in Pain Management from St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, and completed Pain Medicine Fellowship at New York University.
I specialize in managing headaches, migraines, atypical facial pain, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathic pain, pudendal neuralgia, pelvic pain, and cancer-related pain. I also care for patients who have neck, hip, and low-back pain; pain in the peripheral joints; nerve pain; and other conditions. To help relieve patients’ pain, I prescribe medications, recommends physical therapy and lifestyle changes, and perform interventional pain management procedures, such as Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks, Botox therapy, Lidocaine/Ketamine Infusions, Joint/Muscle injections, Stellate Ganglion Blocks, Epidurals, and Nerve Blocks. I also enjoy conducting research, and so far, I have published 23 peer reviewed articles and have had over 100 peer reviewed abstracts accepted to regional, state, national, and international medical conferences. I present on rare pain conditions, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, lidocaine infusions, and other anesthesiology and pain-related topics. For me, it is extremely satisfying when patients say they feel heard, their pain has been addressed, and they have experienced relief as a result of treatment. I enjoy making a difference in each person’s life. Outside of my professional life, I like to garden, ballroom dance and spend quality time with my family.
