Summary

• I trained in internal medicine and then in medical toxicology at University of Colorado. I later did a fellowship in occupational medicine at UCSF. I am Board Certified In preventive medicine, occupational medicine, and medical toxicology. For forty years I taught environmental sciences at the Colorado School of Mines and I have been a faculty member, first full time and then clinical faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine for fifty years. I was the first director of emergency services at the University of Colorado hospital. I am currently Adjunct Professor of occupational and environmental health at the Colorado School of Public Health. I have retired from my day to day practice In occupational medicine and toxicology but I continue to teach.
  
  I have been a consultant to OSHA and the EPA over the years. I participated in the writing of eleven OSHA standards. I have written more than fifty published papers and book chapters.
  
  I am an avid photographer and printmaker. I have participated in many group shows and competitions in both photography and printmaking.
