  • Daniel Posner, MD, is a psychodynamic psychiatrist based in New York, NY. He completed his fellowship in public psychiatry at NY Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University in 2004, following his residency in psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Beth Israel) from 1999 to 2003. He is a graduate of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine (1999). His work explores a range of topics through the multiple lenses of psychoanalysis, enactive phenomenology and infancy research. He is associate editor at Psychoanalytic Inquiry where he recently published a two-volume issue entitled, "The Interpersonal World of the Autistic Infant." He is working on a book about the developmental psychoanalyst Daniel N. Stern for Routledge.
