Summary
- Currently a consultation liaison psychiatrist at the University of Kansas Hospital following almost a decade of training and practice in Clinical Laboratory Sciences on a multi-disciplined laboratory team and almost another decade of medical training. I have been proud to have been an active part of the surrounding Kansas City, Kansas community through JayDoc in both undergraduate and doctorate capacities and have dedicated my studies to the pursuit of whole-person health. This manifested as a keen interest in Medicine-Psychiatry, and an approach to the patient as a person of both physical and mental presentations of illness. It is my desire to continue to advocate for mental (and physical) health in the community through legislation and through spreading awareness to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, allowing reconciliation of its effect on physical wellness and subsequent benefit to the patient.
