Summary

  • Dr. Herzig joined the faculty at OHSU in 2005. He is part of the OHSU Digestive Health Center and the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of both cancerous and noncancerous diseases of the colon and rectum. Research interests include organ preservation in rectal cancer, hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes, and shared decision making. He serves as a section editor for Diseases of the Colon and Rectum. His administrative duties include institution-wide elected positions to represent physicians at large to the organization’s leadership.
