Summary
- I am a physician executive, investor, start-up and VC advisor, real-world evidence scientist and digital health technologist. I am currently Chief Medical Officer at PicnicHealth, where I oversees a team of clinicians, data scientists, epidemiologists and biostatisticians, sets product strategy and vision and works on life sciences commercialization and GTM. PicnicHealth’s goal is to transform clinical research, by putting the patient’s voice at the center, by understanding what matters to real patients in the real world and by giving patients control over their data. I am passionate about leveraging novel uses of machine learning and technology to transform patient outcomes, reduce inefficiencies and ensure that patients’ voices and stories become a more central part of clinical research.
A board certified internist and infectious disease physician, I completed my medical training, infectious disease fellowship and a masters in epidemiology at the University of Washington and my residency at the University of California San Francisco.
I previously served in clinical, research and engineering leadership roles in academia, at a large healthcare organization and multiple start-ups.
