Dr. Daniel Dent is a general, trauma, and critical care surgeon at UT Health San Antonio. He earned his BS degree at Duke University and received his MD from University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed a Surgery residency and research fellowship at UT Memphis and has been in practice since 1996. He has served in numerous leadership roles for the Association of Program Directors in Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Board of Surgery.
