Board Certified by examination in Aerospace and Occupational Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Certified as a Senior AME by the FAA since 1978. Certified as a HIMS Trained AME by the FAA. Expertise in clinical Occupational Medicine since 1975. Served on active military duty during the Vietnam Conflict and during Desert Storm. Retired as a Chief Flight Surgeon in the USAir Force with 10 years active duty and 26 years of Reserve/Air National Guard service.
