• Dr. Dana DeCarlo is a fetal and pediatric cardiologist with the Heart Institute at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. DeCarlo completed a residency in pediatrics at UCLA/Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, California. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at NYU Langone in New York City. During her fellowship, she studied the use of specialized imaging techniques to measure fetal heart function and presented her pioneering work at regional and national conferences.
