Summary
- I am a Board-Certified colorectal surgeon with specialty training in minimally invasive surgery and the multimodality treatment of low & unfavorable rectal cancers with emphasis on sphincter-preservation surgery. I also have a very strong interest/background in the minimally invasive treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease) with the strong combination of medical management by skilled gastroenterologists and the least invasive surgical approaches in managing two disabling diseases that, when managed correctly, lead to much needed improvement in overall quality of life.
