- Dr Daichi Hayashi is the Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology and an associate professor of radiology at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA, since January 2023. Previously, he was an associate professor of clinical radiology at SUNY Stony Brook University, Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship Program Director, Faculty Diversity Ambassador, and co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. His research interests are imaging of musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, sports injuries, and cancers, and AI application for musculoskeletal imaging, including spine, tumors, and fractures. Dr Hayashi has authored/co-authored more than 120 peer-reviewed publications and serves as an editorial board member for the Japanese Journal of Radiology and Osteoarthritis Imaging.
