Summary
- I am currently a categorical general surgery and 4+3 integrated cardiothoracic surgery resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. I am in the process of completing a three year postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiothoracic transplantation in the lab of Dr. Joren Madsen at the MGH Center for Transplantation Sciences. My research focuses on identifying novel mechanisms for the induction of heart and lung allograft tolerance using non-human primates. My long-term career goal is to become an academic cardiac surgeon involved in transplantation.
