- I am a UCLA-trained Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist and QME. I have been on Medical Staff at the Cedars-Sinai Health System for over 25 years. I am the current Clinical Chief for the Department of PM&R serving a second 2-year term. I completed the Leadership Development Program and participate in ongoing Advanced Leadership Development programming. I currently serve on committees including the Physician Well-Being and Nursing and Physician Joint Practice committees. My experience includes serving as medical staff for the California Rehabilitation Institute, the Cedars-Sinai Pain Center, and as Medical Director for the former Cedars-Sinai Transitional Care Unit. I have participated in the training and mentoring of Medical Students, Residents, and Junior Medical staff for more than two decades. I have a special interest and demonstrated participation in Health Equity and DEI efforts. I am the current Co-Chair for BLOOM, Black Woman Leaders Overtly Officiating Movement, a newly formed Cedars-Sinai Resource Support Group developed to provide support and mentoring for Black Women Managers and Physicians at Cedars-Sinai and it's affiliates. I participate in the ACGME DEI Officer's monthly forums. I am the wife of an Orthopedic surgeon and the proud mother three thriving children. I am a firm believer in the value of work-life balance. I participate in community service opportunities which include serving as a Board Member for Project Angel Food, a Non-Profit which provides medically tailored meals to qualifying individuals.
