- Dr. Woodard is a Board certified neurologist, most recently practicing as a general adult neurologist in a private-practice setting in Nashville Tennessee. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center-San Antonio, graduating in 1987, followed by his neurology residency training at the same institution and then a fellowship in EMG/neuromuscular disorders at Brown University. After completing postdoctoral training, Dr. Woodard joined a private practice neurology group in Greenville, South Carolina where he worked for 11years prior to moving to Nashville Tennessee. He developed active outpatient neurology practices in both locations and also saw inpatient hospital consultations.
Dr. Woodard joined the Department of Neurology at MUSC in October 2013 with the plans to develop a clinic oriented outpatient neurology practice. He will be seeing patients at the East Cooper, North Charleston, and West Ashley clinics. Dr. Woodard is comfortable seeing patients with a wide range of neurologic disorders, including headaches and cognitive disorders
