- I am a physician executive with 20+ years of clinical, operational and leadership experience specializing in international healthcare with a focus on telemedicine and health systems management in emerging markets. I currently work with the leading telemedicine platforms across the United States and consult with international organizations looking to develop their own digital health services. Since 2019, I have served as an Operating Partner for CedarBridge Capital, a private equity firm focusing on the healthcare, education and consumer goods sectors.
Previously, I served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Abraaj Group and the Evercare Health Fund, a healthcare focused private equity fund delivering quality medical care to underserved markets across Africa and Asia. Prior to this, I spent 12 years with International SOS serving as the Regional Medical Director based out of the London, Moscow, Singapore and Beijing offices.
I received my Doctor of Medicine degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed my Internal Medicine specialization at the Walter Reed Medical Center. I am a board certified Diplomate in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and a Fellow of the International Society of Travel Medicine.
During my military medical career, I served as the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Flight Surgeon and was in charge of the Internal Medicine and Aviation Medicine program at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Healthcare Facility in Belgium. Prior to this, I served as the internist and flight surgeon for the Multinational Force and Observers in Egypt. I have since practiced medicine throughout the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe.
