Summary

• After 25 years in insurance-dominated primary care, I moved my Med/Peds practice to an insurance-free membership model (Direct Primary Care). I named that practice Unorthodoc®, and never looked back. Because the membership is affordable, my patients come from all walks of life and all ages with all insurance situations, including "none". I consider myself the happiest doctor in American health care and I never miss an opportunity to spread the word.
