  • Constantine Demetracopoulos, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon based in New York City with a subspecialty in foot and ankle surgery. He completed his medical education at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2007, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in foot and ankle orthopaedics at Duke University Hospital.

    He is currently an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, and an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chief of the Foot and Ankle Service at Hospital for Special Surgery.

    He is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in the treatment of ankle arthritis and ankle replacement. He is the founder and Director of the Total Ankle Center at Hospital for Special Surgery. In addition to ankle replacements, his clinical interests include deformities of the ankle and foot, as well as traumatic and sports related injuries to the ankle.
