Summary
- I closed my clinical practice in Dec 2012 due to increasing government regulations. I'm certified in Medical Staff Leadership (credentialing, quality, peer review) and consult with physicians and lawyers on various issues. I still serve on the YRMC Cancer Committee and Tumor Board.
I was a Regional Faculty for the American Heart Assn and taught ACLS classes for 26 years until they decided Faculty and Medical Directors weren't necessary anymore. Early on I developed an ACLS Pre-Course for the providers here in Yuma, and the idea was later adopted by the AHA.
My involvement in the GOP and Tea Party is well-known as are the articles I've written for The Washington Times supporting physicians, privacy and our 2nd Amendment rights. Public speaking, politics and consulting take up most of my time.
