- Dr. Clifton Bingham is a rheumatologist at Johns Hopkins University where he is a Professor of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Johns Hopkins Arthritis Center, Vice Chair for Clinical and Translational Research in the Department of Medicine, and Deputy Director of Research for the Division of Rheumatology. He received his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed Residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and Fellowships in Rheumatology and Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
He has clinical expertise in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Spondyloarhopathies, and Osteoarthritis. He has additional expertise in clinical trial design and analysis, outcome measure development and validation, and patient reported outcome measures.
He has authored more than 250 publications, and his work has been cited more than 35,000 times.
