- Clarice Brown, MD, joined Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a Pediatric Otolaryngologist and Emory University as Assistant Professor in fall 2020. Dr. Brown is originally from Stone Mountain, Ga. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University, graduating with a B.S. in biology. She then completed her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at University at Buffalo. She then completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She has clinical interests in general pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck masses, pediatric sinonasal disease, pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, and dysphagia.
She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a fellow member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. She has presented at several national and regional otolaryngology meetings. She has authored several publications with a research interest in quality improvement and health equity.
She is excited to return to the Atlanta area to serve the community. In her spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, running, fine dining, traveling internationally and listening to live music.
