He is a primary care sports medicine specialist with a focus on family medicine and the management of common sports and non-sports related injuries, in both young athletes and active adults of all ages. Originally from Nigeria. He attended the prestigious University of Nigeria College of Medicine, where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He also attended the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with a Doctor of Osteopathic and Manipulative Medicine degree.
He then completed his residency training in Family Medicine and Fellowship training in Primary care sports medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, in Texas.
Dr. Nnabuife is dual board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family practice. While in fellowship, he provided on-field coverage for notable Universities in the Houston area, such as in women's soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, and coverage for various marathons and sporting events.
Dr. Nnabuife has a particular interest in the care of children, and teenage athletes that have outgrown their traditional pediatrician and active adults, providing specialized care of sports injuries, concussion management, and orthopedic conditions, with expertise in ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections, for arthritic patients, and platelet-rich plasma injections for chronic tendinopathies. He also manages acute and chronic medical conditions and preventive care.
